On Fridays I do these "Dream Status Report" prompts
I use these same printable journaling sheets every week to help me have more clarity, momentum and groundedness on my path.
I just want to note that: I have been experimenting with how I write and schedule these posts. At this point, I am writing well in advance of sharing here. This is just to give me the space in my schedule I need. So sometimes what I share here may seem "out of time" with things I am saying on calls or on other blog posts.
Reflecting on this last week feels WEIRD.
I am in a kind of "where I am" "what is time" "who am I" "what is life" kind of place.
I am meditating more, connecting with the soul of my dream, my dream self and the soul of the creative dream incubator more and I feel some kind of deepening happening and I love it and I don't understand it.
I am really focused on: how do I want to feel? And then... what helps me feel this way?
And from that I got some clarity about re-decorating the loft! I keep re-arranging furniture, which is a thing I love to do. And somehow after living here for 12 years I found a NEW way that I hadn't tried before.
But the big thing this week is.... MOVEMENT!
*** PLEASE remember our no unsolicited advice guideline in the membership. While I am going in circles here, I am not asking for advice. I am trusting myself to find my way.
I know I talk about it a lot. Movement is SO important for my mental health, energy and creativity. AND I've been so overwhelmed by so many things OF COURSE I don't always have the energy to go for walks.
And I don't have the energy to go to the gym. Like - the energy it takes to be around the people at the gym is a HUGE ICK. Right now I feel like this is something I never want to do again for the rest of my life.
AND I know I would feel so much better if I was lifting weights.
So I've just been sitting with that for a while. Not pushing myself, and not avoiding my thoughts and feelings about it. Just being with it and trusting I would find my way through.
Well - I set up a resistance band exercise space in my bedroom. I created a little routine of moves I found online that mimic how I was using weight machines. And then I set a tiny goal - 3 minutes.
Just try a few of these things. You can stop any time. Let's take the tiniest possible steps to getting into a weight training routine that works for you.
And it worked! I think I did 6 minutes and it totally lifted my mood and energy and I feel like I have something to build on.
